Global Regulations

Chemical regulations in Europe such as RoHS 2 and REACH highly regulate electronics and electronic equipment, including medical devices. In addition, EN 71-3 establishes chemical safety requirements under the EU Toy Safety Directive.

State and Federal Regulations

In the past decade, 93 chemical regulation policies have been adopted in various states around the U.S. Our North America labs are accredited to test for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), California's Proposition 65, California's Draft Regulation for Safer Consumer Products (Green Chemistry) and Washington State's Children's Safe Products Act, and more.
