The ISPCE annual meeting is the ideal conference for professionals, practitioners, and innovators in the product safety and compliance engineering area - technical sessions and exhibits will span three days.     Topic: Testing of Wireless Devices
    Presenter: Grace Lin, Engineer, Electrical & Wireless
    • This presentation provides an overview of test requirements for common wireless devices such as Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi devices, etc. With this understanding, applicants can ensure test samples are appropriately prepared for compliance testing, the first and most important step toward regulatory approval.

    Topic: Global RoHS
    Presenter: Kenneth Stanvick, Senior Consultant, Global Restricted Substances, HERS
    • This presentation will focus on three specific implementations of RoHS, EU RoHS, China RoHS, and United Arab Emirates RoHS. We will identify common requirements, where the requirements differ and the necessary actions that product manufacturers and their materials manufacturers will need to put in place to ensure compliance.
  • Energy Storage & Batteries Track | 9:10am - 10:10am, May 16 | Santa Clara
    Topic: Certification Challenges for Power Banks
    Presenter: Rich Byczek, Global Director Business Development, Transportation Technologies
    • This presentation will discuss various scopes of existing and draft standards as well as applicability of various regulations which may include these devices
