This webinar was presented during the 2021 JPMA Virtual Summit as part of the event’s educational programming. The webinar provides an introduction to juvenile products, including the definition of a durable nursery product and how these products are different than a children's product, as well as the various categories of nursery products. Also discussed are hazards and concerns associated with these products, as well as industry standards set forth by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, and ASTM standards. Finally, the presentation also covers other physical and chemical safety requirements for children's products and how they can be considered in relation to or may impact juvenile products.
