This presentation will focus on K-OSHA amendments related to MSDS, which entered into force on January 16, 2021. As a result, submission of Korean MSDS to the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) before manufacture or import will be required for products that are classified as hazardous under Korean GHS regulation.
If a company does not want to disclose CBI such as the chemical name and content (%) of a hazardous substance in Korean MSDS, an application for CBI protection to the MOEL needs to be made.
