On March 20, 2018, the Korean Ministry of the Environment (MoE) issued the amendment to K-REACH, which was implemented on January 1, 2019. The main amendments abolished the annual reporting obligations set out in the previous Act and instead proposed a pre-registration similar to the EU-REACH for existing chemical substances over 1 ton per year.
Once pre-registration is completed by end-June 2019, the potential registrant is given a grace period of registration.
The first deadline of grace period is December 31, 2021. In order to enable manufacturers or importers to better respond to the current deadline, in this webinar, our expert will fully explain the requirement for joint registration and share our registration experience.
