Intertek Surveying Services expands presence into Louisiana to further strengthen its offering for local clients

Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, announces the expansion of its Louisiana office to now provide Surveying Services in addition to its current Non-Destructive Testing service-offering .  Formerly serviced by the Houston office, Louisiana based companies will now have direct access to Intertek Surveying Services (ISS).

Surveying services have become an essential element in managing the entire life cycle of a project from design and construction through to installation, upgrade and revamp.  These versatile and customizable services are utilized by many industries such as oil and gas, shipbuilding, renewable energy, refining, petrochemical, nuclear, manufacturing and aerospace.  Effective surveying services offer unprecedented gains for companies working in the offshore and process industries, with shortened project durations, improved site safety, increased accuracy, reduced field times and minimal reworks  just some of the benefits.  

This location, which already provides non-destructive testing services, will now also offer onshore/offshore 3D laser scanning, dimensional control services, laser scanning/surveying equipment rental and sales, metrology services (such as reverse engineering, 1st article inspection and deformation analysis, topographic surveying), 3D CAD modeling and ground penetrating radar.
