Exporting/Importing to Saudi Arabia –SASO Update on EER

Manufacturers and Exporters are hereby advised of the latest amendments to the Energy Efficiency Standards for low-capacity air conditioners and street lighting recently issued in the Saudi Official Gazette Issue number 4971 published on 24th February 2023:

  • SASO 2927:2019-AMD2:2023 Energy efficiency functionality and labeling requirements for lighting products – Part 3: Street Lighting
  •  SASO 2663:2021-AMD1:2023 Air Conditioners - Minimum Energy Performance, Labelling, and testing requirements for Low Capacity Window Type and Single-Split Type
