The Turkish regulation (KKDIK) requires companies to pre-register and register any substances manufactured or placed on the Turkish market on their own, in mixtures, or in articles with an intended release equal to or above 1 metric ton per annum. Companies exporting chemicals to Turkey can appoint an Only Representative (OR) to submit the KKDIK registration and the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) notification on their behalf.

After 31 December 2023, substances on their own, in mixtures, or in articles equal to or above 1 metric ton per annum cannot be manufactured or placed on the market unless registered in accordance with the relevant provisions of KKDIK. To speed up the registration process, some facilitations and derogations on information requirements in registration files were published on the Chemical Registration System on 02 February 2023.

This webinar download presents the updates on KKDIK and the KKS tool,  and outlines how companies are completing the registration before the deadline.
