Intertek and Al Bayader International Celebrate World Environment Day

(Dubai, UAE) –Intertek, a Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, along with Al Bayader International, a UAE-based leading manufacturer and supplier of comprehensive food packaging solutions and cleaning materials, today celebrated World Environment Day at Al Bayader’s Head Office in Sharjah, UAE. In conjunction with the celebration, Intertek has awarded Al Bayader International, the globally recognised ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
Intertek completed a series of rigorous audits across Al Bayader’s processes to ascertain a robust integration of environment, quality, and health and safety management system requirements in the organisation, and accordingly granted ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety) management system certifications. These new certifications provide Al Bayader International with a stronger foundation for its environmental performance, a value-added approach to remain agile in today’s ever-changing environment, all while improving employee safety.
By adopting a continuous improvement model, the ISO 14001 certification helps Al Bayader International reiterate its commitment to environmental sustainability by strengthening its environmental management system. Likewise, the ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications demonstrate the organisation’s dedication to provide the best services to meet customers’ needs and maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
