Intertek Caleb Brett strengthens its position in South Europe with the opening of a new oil & gas testing laboratory in Athens, Greece

Athens, Greece - Intertek Caleb Brett, a Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, and experts in qualitative and quantitative analytical assessment services to the oil and gas, chemical, and other commodities markets, is pleased to announce the opening of new testing facilitiesin Greece for petroleum products in Athens - Kifissia, Attica, further supporting the region's key role in international trade.

With a global network of laboratories, 24/7 availability, and more than a 130 years of exceptional customer service, our customers receive independent inspection and testing with industry-leading customer service. This latest site boasts more than 180 Sq meters of state-of-the-art laboratory space and builds on Intertek Caleb Brett's successful entry into Greece four years ago, offering new incountry testing capabilities for the oil and gas and shipping industries across ship to ship, coastal shipping, crude oil and refined products trading. These testing services include:

These new laboratory services complement Intertek Caleb Brett's existing services in Greece and Cyprusfor cargo quality and quantity inspections, including loading and discharging operations supervision, bunker quantity surveys, sampling and additives treatments.

Following an inauguration event on 6th July, which previewed the facility to major customers in oil, gas, trading and shipping. The laboratory is now officially open.
